NEW DELHI: Glenn Maxwell, the Australian all-rounder, shared an interesting anecdote before his team's upcoming ICC T20 World Cup Super Eights match against Bangladesh. He mentioned that during Australia's game against Scotland, some English players were anxiously waiting for the result in their dressing room.
The outcome of that match would determine England's qualification for the next round. Maxwell revealed, "some players from England, whose qualification to the next round was dependent on their arch-rivals' win over Scotland, were panicking in their dressing room, booking and cancelling their flights while the match went down the wire."
