Shocking images have shown the devastation cause by a fire in a Scots town after eight homes were reportedly destroyed by the blaze.
Emergency services raced to the scene on Harbour Road in Nairn, Highlands, after the alarm was raised at around 1pm on Friday. Residents were evacuated from the three-storey building as the blaze ripped through the top floor causing the roof to collapse.
Pictures taken on Friday evening showed the gutted remains of the building. Crews remained on the scene until the early hours of this morning and the area still remains cordoned off.
Thankfully no one was injured but the local council said eight homes were left "uninhabitable". Firefighters tackled the blaze for about 13 hours, leaving just after 2am on Saturday.
A fundraiser has now been set up to raise £5,000 for the residents who have been 'left with absolutely nothing'.
Organiser Lindsay Crichton wrote on the JustGiving page: "I am setting up this page after a horrific incident happened in my home town today which resulted in eight flats being burned. And leaving eight families with absolutely nothing it's just totally heartbreaking.
"I can't sit back and do nothing so I have decided to set this page up to help the families and try and bring some comfort and joy back to them."

A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: "Operations Control mobilised seven appliances and a height vehicle to the scene to extinguish the fire and make the area safe. There are no reported casualties."
Highland Council said the area had been made secure and that it would assess whether additional measures were required to enable vehicle access to the harbour.
Councillor Paul Oldham told the BBC: "Police Scotland have confirmed everyone is safe and accounted for. NHS Highland is leading on Care for People, with THC Housing assisting and helping with options for those people displaced who do not have insurance. Eight properties within the block of flats have been rendered uninhabitable."
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 1.25pm on Friday, 9 June, police were called to a report of a fire at a block of flats in Harbour Street, Nairn. Officers attended to assist Scottish Fire and Rescue Service.
“No one was injured however occupants were evacuated and found alternative accommodation. A cordon remains in place on Harbour Street.”
