Gurugram cop bags 3 medals at World Police and Fire Games

GURUGRAM: The joint commissioner of Gurugram police, Kulvinder Singh and DIG of BSF Pushpender Singh Rathore won a gold medal in golf at World Police and Fire Games 2022 which was held at Rotterdam, Netherlands between July 22 to July 31.

These games are held every two years in which policemen and firemen from all over the world participate. More than 300 golfers participated in the event. Besides this, the team of Singh and Rathore won silver medal also. Pushpender Singh won two silver medals in the individual event and Kulvinder Singh got a bronze in the individual event.

The team consisting of KK Sindhu IPS (Retd) and Dr Kashmir Singh IPS (Retd) also bagged a silver medal. This is one of the highest medal tally by the Indian golfers in the World Police and Fire Games.

The event was held over three days at three different courses in Rotterdam namely Cromstrijen golf club, Golfschool De Hooge and Kleiburg Golf club.
