Police have launched a probe after gunshots were reportedly 'fired at a window' of a property near Glasgow.
Cops raced to the scene on Stanalane Street in Thornliebank, East Renfrewshire, after the alarm was raised at around 11.30pm on Sunday, January 23.
Officers were responding to the report of a 'firearm being discharged' in the area.
A source has told the Glasgow Times that two shots were fired at a window on the street.
Forensic officers were later spotted combing the scene outside a house.
No one was injured as a result of the incident.
Cops say their enquiries are ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers received report of a possible firearm being discharged in the Stanalane Street area of Glasgow around 11.30pm on Sunday, January 23.
“No-one was injured and enquiries into the incident are ongoing.”
