Following the tragic killing of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, investigators are exploring the theory that the perpetrator may have used a veterinary gun in the attack. Joseph Kenny, Chief of Detectives at the New York Police Department, revealed to The New York Times that the gunman could have utilized a larger firearm typically employed on farms and ranches.
Kenny explained that veterinary guns are designed to euthanize animals in a quiet manner, minimizing noise and disturbance. These guns are commonly used in agricultural settings to humanely put down animals when necessary.
