Gujarat fisherfolk leader moves HC for euthanasia, alleges 'discrimination, negligence'

HC Gujarat Discrimination Ahmedabad Porbandar

AHMEDABAD: A leader of fishing community from Gosabara wetlands in Porbandar filed a petition in the Gujarat high court on Thursday seeking permission for himself and his 600 community members for active euthanasia.

Allarakha Ismailbhai Thimmar, in his petition filed through advocate Dharmesh Gurjar, alleges that the authorities discriminate against them on the basis of their religion and do not provide for any facility and create hindrances in their business activity.
