AHMEDABAD: Of the 700-odd Covid patients admitted to Civil Hospital in Ahmedabad in January, 52% were not vaccinated and 9% were partially vaccinated, said hospital authorities.
“The rest 39% were fully vaccinated,” said Dr Rakesh Joshi, the medical superintendent of the hospital. “While vaccinations don’t stop infections, they surely have a bearing on severity and mortality.”
