Surendranagar: At least four women died and 16 others were injured after their pickup van collided with a truck in Gujarat’s Surendranagar district, police said.
Van was going to Somnath
The van was traveling from Shiyani village in Limbdi taluka to Somnath. The vehicle was carrying 20 people.

The incident happened around 10:30pm on Monday. The victims were going to Somnath a ritual for their deceased ancestors.
All the injured were rushed to Rajkot civil hospital.

Identity of deceased
The deceased women have been identified as Magjiben Rethariya (72), Galalben Rethariya (60) Manjuben Rethariya (65) and Gauriben Rethariya (68). (With Agency inputs)
