Guest at I’m a Celebrity hotel shares what campmates are like after leaving the jungle

With dozens of cameras watching their every move in camp, fans are always up to date with what contestants are up to on I’m a Celebrity. Yet we’re always left wondering what happens once they’re evicted from the jungle.

One woman staying at the hotel where the axed campmates stay after their stint in the wilderness has shared what the stars are actually like once they’ve left the show. The celebrities get to stay at the JW Marriott Resort & Spa on Australia’s Gold Coast once they’re voted off the ITV show.

It turns out the famous faces have just as much fun after leaving camp as they do while they’re in it. On Tuesday former campmates Sue and Charlene greeted Boy George as he arrived at the hotel - and along with others they sang his classic hit Karma Chameleon, Liverpool Echo reports.

George and former health secretary Hancock, 44, did not appear to get on during their days in the jungle. But according to the unnamed hotel guest, there "didn't appear to be any tension" between the popstar and Mr Hancock's partner Gina Coladangelo.

The hotel guest said: "Everyone was waiting in the lobby as he arrived. They were all chatting and milling about before being told to form up. It was a good atmosphere."

They also hailed Coronation Street's Sue Cleaver as "lovely". The actress, 59, was the third campmate to be evicted.

The guest said: "She chatted with a few of the fans that were there. She was lovely and let us take some photos."
