Baseball is a beautiful game because you never know what you’re going to see next. Lots of cool things can happen but also lots of weird things can happen, too.
Well, something very weird happened yesterday in Kansas City and it was something that I’ve never seen in all my years of watching the great game of baseball. Cleveland Guardians catcher Luke Maile hit a deep ball to left field and it… got stuck on top of the wall.
For real, that happened. Maile ended up with a ground-rule double, which must have stung a little bit because he was so darn close to getting a home run.
