GTA 6 will launch on 19 November 2026 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, Rockstar Games has confirmed, with digital pre-orders able to start pre-loading the game at local midnight on 12 November.

The confirmation finally locks down the GTA 6 release date after years of shifting targets. The first trailer only offered a broad 2025 window. Rockstar later fixed 26 May 2026 as launch day before announcing a further delay and moving the game to 19 November 2026, saying the extra months were needed to deliver the expected level of polish.
