GTA 6 L3 Sprint Controversy: Fans Fear Alleged Control Scheme Changes Will Result in Stick Drift

Grand Theft Auto 6 fans are debating an alleged L3 sprint input after a hands-off preview raised concerns about hand strain, controller wear and stick drift (Credit: GTA Community Instagram account)

Grand Theft Auto 6 fans are questioning whether an alleged L3 sprint control could contribute to controller wear and discomfort during long sessions, after Italian gaming creator MikeShowSha discussed the game's movement and controls following his two-hour preview session at Rockstar North.

According to MikeShowSha, sprinting was mapped to L3, the clickable left analogue stick, in the preview build. His comments have prompted debate among players accustomed to using a face button to sprint in recent Grand Theft Auto games.
