Growing concerns for missing Scots schoolgirl who vanished from home

Concerns are growing for the welfare of a Scots schoolgirl who has vanished from home.

Abi Huskie, 13, has been reported missing from the Bainsford area of Falkirk.

She hasn't been seen since the morning of Wednesday, March 16, although she may have been in and around the area of Westburn Avenue in the town later in the day.

Police have since launched a frantic appeal for information in a bid to find Abi.

She is described as being of slim build with long brown hair.

When last seen she was wearing a black body warmer, white shirt with Falkirk High School tie, v-neck jumper, black skirt, black tights and black trainers.

Inspector Alex Hatrick at Falkirk Police Station said: "We are becoming increasingly concerned about Abi.

"I would ask anyone who has seen her since she was reported missing or has any information which would help find her to contact police on 101.
