Jai Opetaia's camp have slammed Gilberto 'Zurdo' Ramirez's "embarrassing" efforts to avoid a unification bout after the Mexican's next fight was announced.

Unbeaten Opetaia, owner of the IBF and The Ring cruiserweight belts, will make a mandatory defence of those titles against Huseyin Cinkara on the Gold Coast on December 6.
