A 'groundhopper' schedule to take in Caledonian Braves' Lowland League clash with Edinburgh University on Friday night can provide a major boost to the club, says boss Ricky Waddell.
The clash is on a list for dedicated football fans who intend to visit as many lower league grounds as they can.
Alliance Park is the destination for the Lowland League action, with a 7.45pm kick-off, and Waddell says that will provide a larger than usual attendance.
But it's also an important game for Braves as they enter their final four fixtures of the season, and it's part of a home double-header that continues against East Kilbride on Tuesday.
Waddell said: "There will be a good crowd at the Edinburgh Uni game.
"It comes under one of the 'groundhopper' plans, where fans from all across the UK attend a lower league game, so I think we're expecting 300 or 400 game, which wouldn't normally get that sort of attention, so that's pretty good.
"The Tuesday night game is another home tie for us, it was a disappointing result against East Kilbride the last time [a 7-0 rout in December], but since that game we've been very good.
"It will give us a wee marker on our improvement, I suppose, and hopefully we can keep injury-free.
"They're both games that we're capable of winning, we'll focus on Friday first, of course, and then we'll have a look to see where we are squad-wise for Tuesday."
Waddell go into Friday night's game on the back of a 3-1 win at Bo'ness United, and Waddell says he's fairly happy with their ninth-placed position.
He said: "I always want more, but I think points return has been very good this season.
"If you look on previous seasons, our best finish was 36 points, which made us mid-table, and it's always about trying to improve year on year.
"Last season was a bit of a wash-out, but this season we're sitting on 43 points with four games to go, which we're happy with.
"But we always want more, we want to win those four games, and we want to improve all the time."
