This summer, Bristolians can prepare to have a full calendar with some of the best-loved events coming back to the city after being held off for the past few years due to COVID. As if that wasn't exciting enough, the city will be welcoming some new events too.
One of the latest fun-filled festivals is Bristol's brand new music event series, Siren, which will take place on the beautiful Bristol harbour on Friday 29 and Saturday 30 July 2022. And one of the huge headliners has already been announced with iconic Electronic duo Groove Armada’s Live 25th Anniversary Show announced to headline Friday night.
The show will be the last part of Groove Armada's last full live UK tour, against the enigmatic backdrop of Bristol’s harbour with boats and cranes providing the perfect setting for their legendary colourful sets.

This summer will be 25 years since Groove Armada debuted, going on to become one of the most successful dance acts of the time. Over two decades of prolific productions and tireless touring they’ve proved that it’s possible to daringly explore a multitude of sounds while achieving critical and commercial success.
Bristol crowds can expect the full experience, from dancehall dub of ‘Superstylin’’ to the crossover pop appeal of ‘Song 4 Mutya (Out of Control)’ and from the dancefloor-igniting ‘I See You Baby’ to the woozy sunset vibes of ‘At The River’. There aren't many ways more exciting to spend a Summers evening.
Tom Hoyle, Co-Founder of Siren explains: “It’s great to be back at the harbourside this year, launching Siren as a new series of events for Bristol. We will be collaborating with some of the city’s best music brands and acts to produce a whole weekend of music. Groove Armada is the perfect choice to kick off the weekend.
"Their live show is an absolute must see, bringing their back catalogue to life on stage with musicians, dancing and a few surprises.”
Speaking on the event, headliners, Groove Armada, said :“Excited to be coming back to Bristol this summer for what will be our biggest show in the city - it’s a lovely way to be finishing another chapter with the live band and We’re very excited to play an outdoor show in such a beautiful location.”

These artists join an already mega line up on the main stage, which features Hybrid Minds (+ Tempza); alongside support from Kings of the Rollers and Inja; a twenty-year celebratory set from High Contrast; with Grafix, Flava D, Etherwood and more also taking to the stage.Curated by celebrated Bristol label Hospitality, these drum and bass heavyweights join dance legends Groove Armada, as part of their last full live UK tour, with support from Radio 6 Music DJ and Fun Lovin Criminals frontman Huey Morgan and stellar female representation from label Saffron Records and Scarlett O’Malley.
