Grimsby seafood could be Singapore-bound after Hilton nets strategic tie-up

Grimsby seafood could soon be sold in Singapore supermarkets after a strategic partnership was announced.

Hilton Food Group, the company behind two huge processing plants and a smoke house in the town, has entered into a long-term collaboration agreement with Country Foods Pte Ltd.

The wholly owned subsidiary of SATS, Asia's leading provider of food solutions and gateway services, is one of Singapore's largest food importers, distributors and manufacturers. And in an announcement to the City by the FTSE-listed UK giant, seafood headlined, alongside slow cooked meats, Australian beef, lamb and pork products when it comes to providing “Singaporeans the opportunity to purchase high quality, good value protein products produced from Hilton's global manufacturing sites”.
