Grieving mum who lost baby at 16 weeks wants to help other bereaved parents

A mum who lost her baby at four months pregnant is working to help parents going through the same ordeal.

Millie Wylie, 23, from Skelmersdale, lost her son Lenny at Liverpool Women's Hospital in September 2021 after a scan revealed he had no heartbeat. Millie - who has two other children, Sonny, four, and Louie, two - now wants to establish a registered charity that improves support for pregnant women who have to deliver their miscarried babies.

She told LancsLive: “I knew about baby loss, but I did not know it was that common."
