PUNE: Nandan Bal, the chairman of the national tennis selection committee, has lamented players making themselves unavailable for national duty due to their disenchantment with the national federation.

A depleted Indian team suffered a humbling 0-4 rout to Sweden in Stockholm over the weekend, and it came after top singles players Sumit Nagal and Mukund Sasikumar as well as leading doubles player Yuki Bhambri were not available for selection for different reasons.
