Grenfell Tower fire: Kensington and Chelsea Council faces corporate manslaughter charge

Scotland Yard has sent 20 files of evidence to the Crown Prosecution Service over the Grenfell fire including documents which leave Kensington and Chelsea Council facing a corporate manslaughter charge.

The Met Police revealed on Wednesday it has submitted the batch of files to the CPS relating to 54 individuals and 20 companies over the fire in North Kensington, west London, in June 2017 that claimed the lives of 72 people.
