GREGGS is to to give away 10,000 free breakfast rolls to football fans tomorrow morning following Scotland’s late-night clash.

The giveaway will be available at all Greggs shops across Scotland to supporters wearing a Scotland football shirt or top.

Each shop is offering 35 free breakfast rolls on a first-come, first-served basis from 11am.

Customers must also choose from a single filling: bacon, sausage, Lorne sausage or omelette.

Roisin Currie, chief executive of Greggs, said: "The Tartan Army has waited a generation for this moment, and the legendary celebrations from Boston to Miami have the whole world talking.

"To reward Scotland’s unbelievable fan passion, Greggs wanted to step in and help with the ultimate post-match fuel.

"Don your best matchday gear, get to Greggs early, and breakfast is on us."

The offer is valid until 11am, while stocks last, and includes a roll filled with either bacon, sausage, Lorne sausage or omelette.

Fans must arrive dressed in their Scottish football supporter attire to claim the freebie.

Greggs has encouraged all fans to "wear their passion on their sleeve" with vintage shirts, lucky matchday tops, or full-on Tartan Army regalia.

Scotland’s team are hoping to make history at Wednesday’s crunch World Cup group clash in Miami against Brazil.

A draw would almost certainly seal Scotland’s first passage beyond the group stage of a major finals and even a defeat could be enough, depending on the outcome of results in other groups.

Scotland have faced Brazil at the 1974, 1982, 1990 and 1998 finals when they failed to beat the South Americans, but will be backed by a vociferous Tartan Army support in Florida on Wednesday evening.

Earlier on Tuesday, many of them had joined a huge parade to the beach.

The scenes were reminiscent of Scotland’s last appearance at a World Cup when the team took on Brazil in the opening game of France 98.

The party on the streets of Miami extended well into the small hours of Wednesday, with fans from both teams drinking, dancing and wishing each other luck.

Some even played five-a-sides and other street football games on Ocean Drive.
