An old video of Texas Governor Greg Abbott saying that Texas will be a land for the Indian community as long as he remains the governor went viral Monday as social media users shared the video claiming that Abbott said this after there was row over Hindus observing Chhath puja in Texas. "Greg Abbott declares Texas a place for the Indian community, what about Texans Greg? Where do we go?" influencer Kaylee Campbell said, reposting Abbott's video. "What do they have on Greg to make him say this," the influencer said.
The video in question is from the Diwali celebration and not recent.
