The Green Party leader has been accused of laughing at the vandalism of the Winston Churchill statue in Parliament Square.
Zack Polanski, who was appointed in September last year, was reported to be “amused” by the defacing of the statue when it was discussed at a London Assembly meeting on Thursday.
