Green energy exploratorium plan for Grimsby to be presented to the public

The public are to be given an early insight into plans to promote inspirational career opportunities on Grimsby’s doorstep.

A proposed Low Carbon & Renewables Exploratorium was revealed earlier this month, having been worked up to pre-planning stage by a consortium headed by project director Richard Askam. He will now deliver a talk ‘under the Earth’ - at the Gaia installation by Luke Gerram currently exhibiting in Grimsby Minster.

The box park proposal for Garth Lane would see the offshore wind and allied industries hidden behind port gates and processing operations opened up in full gaze of the town and visitors, underlining the role the Humber is set to play in helping the UK reach Net Zero, benefiting the planet that is the subject of the sculpture, using 120dpi detailed NASA imagery.
