Adopting the most sustainable methods of “clean construction” will create thousands of extra jobs in London in the coming decades, a major new study has claimed.
The research claims almost 10 million extra “job years” will be generated by 2050 with growth largely driven a rise in maintenance and repair work, which will generate 6.1 million job years - 800,000 more than under a carbon-intensive model.
