Edinburgh residents could be in for a chance to see a green comet shoot through the skies tonight.
In a once in a lifetime opportunity, the comet has not passed Earth since the Ice Age and will not be visible again for another 50,000 years.
Named C/2022 E3 (ZTF), the comet was only discovered last year and it is expected to be visible in the night sky over the coming days.
