The Green Brigade have doubled down on branding Brendan Rodgers a "fraud" after he sealed his return to the club.
Celtic fans were left incensed by the Northern Irishman's 2019 exit to Leicester and the reaction since the news broke that he was Dermot Desmond's first choice to replace Ange Postecoglou was mixed. Much of the anger cooled as it became apparent that he would return to the club with many feeling he is the best choice despite the nature of his departure to Leicester, which came as the club stood on the brink of a treble Treble.
But while many are prepared to give him a second chance, influential fan group the Green Brigade reiterated their message from 2019. Moments after he was announced on a three-year deal, they shared an image on social media of their banner reading 'You traded immortality for mediocrity. Never a Celt, always a fraud’.
