The Greek government has updated its covid rules again, a year after all coronavirus restrictions were lifted in the UK.
Many other nations have scrapped all or most of their rules, as the world tries to get back to normality post-pandemic.
In May 2022, Greece lifted most of its covid restrictions for travellers giving a boost to holidaymakers. As of May 1 last year, travellers no longer have to show they've been vaccinated or give proof of a negative test.

A month later, in June, residents and tourists in Greece were told they would only have to wear face masks while on public transport and in hospitals and care facilities for the elderly. In all other spaces there was no longer any legal requirement to wear a mask.
And now this rule has been relaxed further. Masks will now only have to be worn in health and care settings, meaning travellers will no longer have to wear them on the plane or any other transport methods.
The UK Foreign Office updated its travel guidance accordingly on Friday, March 31. The government department also adds: "If you test positive for Covid-19 during your stay in Greece, you are not legally required to self-isolate.
"However, you should take precautionary measures such as informing your accommodation provider, avoiding unnecessary contact with others and wearing a mask".
