Greece seeks answers over deadliest train tragedy

LARISSA, Greece: The toll from Greece’s worst rail accident rose to 42 on Thursday after a head-on collision blamed on “human error” that has sparked angry protests.

The 59-year-old will appear before a prosecutor to explain how a passenger train with over 350 people on board was allowed to run on the same line as a freight train for several kilometres.
