Just days after temperatures touched the 20C threshold, snow is reportedly set to hit Greater Manchester today, with the mercury staying well below 5C.
The forecast from the Weather Channel predicts a mixture of snow and rain throughout the daytime on Wednesday (March 30) for a number of boroughs.. By the evening, the skies should clear.
Yesterday, a Met Office spokesperson told the Manchester Evening News: “The band of rain will continue to sink south on Wednesday, with a change to colder conditions sweeping across much of the UK. For those in the north of the UK, especially on the higher ground, this could fall as a wintry mix of sleet and snow."
