Greater Manchester's current Covid-19 hotspots - and the places where rates are lowest

Covid-19 infections have dropped in all of Greater Manchester’s ‘blackspot’ neighbourhoods as figures show the Omicron wave may have already peaked.

A total of 35,158 people tested positive for coronavirus across Greater Manchester in the week which ended on January 12.

Cases are continuing to decline in the region, although infection rates still remain higher than the national average standing at 1,239.8 cases per 100,000 people.
