A police officer who sprayed CS – an irritant often used as a tear gas – into the face of a 13-year-old boy during an arrest has been given a written warning.
The Greater Manchester Police officer was found to have breached standards of professional behaviour at a misconduct meeting this week, the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) said.
