Great Western Road takeaway engulfed in flames as fire crews battle huge blaze

Firefighters are on the scene of a massive inferno at a takeaway on Great Western Road in Glasgow.

Emergency services sped to Freddie's Food Club at around 8.30am this morning as the eatery was engulfed in flames.

Two fire engines were mobilised along with an aerial appliance to tackle the inferno from above.
