The Great North Run entry ballot has closed, but runners should find out this week if they have won a place.
Those who miss out on the ballot spaces still have the option of trying to secure a charity space for the half marathon held between Newcastle and South Shields on Sunday September 11, 2022.
If your name is in the hat, make sure you have enough money in your bank account to pay the entry fee this week, should you be selected.
