NEW DELHI: India's pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah made a return to national side on Friday after a long 11-month injury lay-off and former skipper Sourav Ganguly termed it as a welcome development.

Bumrah is currently leading a second-string Indian side against Ireland in a three-match T20I series at Dublin.
