Train passengers can get massive discounts on their travel in the next few weeks as part of the 'Great British Rail Sale'. A huge range of fares from Bristol Temple Meads have been cut by up to 50 per cent in the sale, with discounted tickets available on journeys from April 25 until May 27.
As part of this deal, you can get a one-way ticket from Temple Meads to London Paddington for just £18. And if you fancy soaking up some sunshine on the south coast, you can travel to St Ives or Penzance for just £19.
You can also take a day trip to Birmingham on the cheap, with tickets to New Street selling for just £12.60. The government says this sale is the first of its kind, and has been designed to ease some of the pressure on families during the current cost of living crisis.
