Jamie Carragher has described Geoff Shreeves as a "Sky Sports legend" after his departure from the broadcaster was confirmed on Tuesday morning.
The reporter has been an ever-present part of Sky's coverage since joining the organisation over 30 years ago. Shreeves began his career at Sky as a floor manager in 1991 before becoming a reporter a year later.
His arrival at Sky coincided with the dawn of the Premier League, and he was one of Sky's most recognisable faces, interviewing players and managers before and after top-flight games. However, he has now become the latest high-profile figure to leave the broadcaster.
