Manchester City fans want to see Jack Grealish and Aymeric Laporte come into the starting XI to face Brighton.
City will be aiming to immediately bounce back after they fell to a 1-0 loss to Liverpool last week to end their undefeated start to the season. Pep Guardiola deviated from the winning formula with some of his team selections and supporters are urging the manager to return to the set-up that had been serving the Blues fondly until the trip to Anfield.
That means supporters want to see Grealish restored to the left of the attacking trio. The elegant playmaker was benched in Merseyside despite a good run of form of late. His return to the side would mean a lot of jinking as it would see Phil Foden return to the right flank and Bernardo Silva move back into midfield. Captain Ilkay Gundogan would be the one to make way.

Foden has been playing brilliantly on the right wing so far this season so going back there will be a huge benefit, especially as it will see him link back up with Kevin De Bruyne. The Belgian would complete the midfield three with Rodri.
Supporters also want to see several changes in the back line. Joao Cancelo had a nightmare against Liverpool on the right side and fans want him back on the left which has all but become his preferred position at this point. That would see Manuel Akanji return to right-back.
There are also calls for Aymeric Laporte to make his first Premier League start of the season. The centre-back missed the first couple of months of the campaign as he recovered from ankle surgery he underwent in May to fix an issue he played through the pain with towards the end of last season.
Laporte has been gradually reintroduced to action, starting twice in the Champions League, and now fans want him to play domestically. He would replace Nathan Ake.
Man City starting XI fans want to see vs Brighton: Ederson; Akanji, Dias, Laporte, Cancelo; De Bruyne, Rodri, Bernardo, Foden, Haaland, Grealish.
