Welcome Polaris to Grasso’s Garage!
Known for their off-road excellence and long-lasting success in the powersports industry, Polaris wants a slice of the Grasso’s Garage open-air review pie.
In Grasso’s Garage this week, it’s the Polaris Slingshot Signature LE. Their top-of-the-line three wheel recreation vehicle certainly brings out superior style to show off, while enjoying the comfort, style and performance everyone comes to expect. With 5 models available, starting at just over $20K, or option the factory accessories right up to the mid- $30K range. Wrapped in a limited-edition tri-tone paint scheme, the impressive exterior aesthetics boasts the new vented sport hood and wheel design that offers uniqueness and impressive open road enjoyment.
10-Spoke Matte bronze wheels, Stage 3 Rockford Fosgate audio including roll hoop audio as well as heated and cooled seats with red accent stitching are just a few of the added features we noticed on the Slingshot Signature LE. Riding on 18-inch front tires and a single 20-inch rear tire, the three wheel Slingshot offers a 2.0 Liter multiport injected Prostar engine producing 178 horsepower and 120 ft-lb of torque. Weighing in at just over 1,650 pounds, the Slingshot stands 5.4 inches off the ground, has a 9.77 gallon fuel cell and prefers premium octane fuel.
A 7-inch, RIDE COMMAND infotainment system is present on the Slingshot and is clear, concise and offers Navigation, Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth connectivity and a back-up camera. A 7.5 inch tinted windshield is also present and does not offer windshield wipers. Finally a 2-Year, unlimited mile warranty is also standard.
For the Slingshot Signature LE, what a thrill of a ride. I got to experience it in the Catskill Mountains of New York enjoying the scenic mountainous range pushing it to the limits of hills, terrain and various weather conditions. I am happy to enjoy Polaris in Grasso’s Garage and their ever-popular Slingshot Signature LE and I look forward to future Polaris off-road vehicles, and recreational equipment.
