Granit Xhaka has insisted he will keep his World Cup promise to 'smash' Arsenal teammates Gabriel Jesus and Gabriel Martinelli when Switzerland face Brazil today.
The Gunners midfielder faces the tournament favourites today at Stadium 974 looking to take a huge stride towards the round of 16. Switzerland are level on points with A Selecao after defeating Cameroon in their opening game last week.
Today's Group G clash provides an opportunity for three of Arsenal's key players to go head-to-head for a vital three points in the tournament. With Jesus or Martinelli in contention to start following confirmation of Neymar's absence, Xhaka has claimed he will not hold back if he comes up against either of his teammates.

"We were joking before the World Cup to come here and of course, it is always good if you have team-mates opposite your, but we are professional footballers and for 90 minutes," Xhaka said.
"I told Gabby Martinelli and Gabby Jesus if you are running one against one against our goalkeeper I will smash you!
"It doesn’t matter that we are playing in the same team. This is the Word Cup. You play for your own team, you play for your own country and you want to win."
