A pub which stands on the site of former Charing Cross and West Parish Church in Grangemouth is to close exactly 14 years to the day since it opened.
The Bo'ness Road building was first converted into the Earl of Zetland back on February 25, 2008.
However, bosses have today confirmed the pub will close its doors for good tonight due to "maintenance issues and high costs."
Last week, Storm Eunice caused some structural damage to the building.
An announcement has been posted on the Earl of Zetland Facebook, the message reads: "It's a sad day, today we have been informed that the Earl of zetland will be closing its doors for the last time and not reopening back, due to the maintenance issues and high costs the pub is just not feasible to run.
"We are very upset, it is the end of an era.
"And this place will be missed.
"And we would just like to thanks the staff for their service and customers for there continued support."
