After weeks of speculation it has been confirmed that there will be a funfair for this year's Grangemouth Children's Day.
Despite regeneration work taking place in Zetland Park, Taylor's Funfair have been granted permission to set up in their usual spot.
It comes after weeks of rumours that Falkirk Council blocked a request from showmen.
In a statement, a spokesperson for Zetland Park Regeneration Project said: "Just to be clear as we know there is a lot of gossip going on.
"The shows are coming to Zetland Park for Children’s Day.
"They will go next to the pump track. The shows (a different operator) will also be coming to the park for our grand opening at the end of August."
