Grangemouth driver found with no licence or insurance reported to prosecutors

A driver has been reported to prosecutors after police stopped a car in Grangemouth to find the motorist had no licence or insurance.

The incident happened on Moriston Court in the town, and after checks on the car and woman, officers found she only had a provisional licence.

That resulted in the car being seized by cops.

The force confirmed a 31-year-old woman has been reported to the Procurator Fiscal.

Taking to Twitter, Falkirk Police said: "PCs Towler and Steel stopped a car being driven in Moriston Court, Grangemouth by a 31 year old female.

"She was found to have a provisional driving licence.

"Her car was seized and she will be reported for driving with no licence and no insurance."
