Grandma shares £3 time-saving suitcase hack that allows you to 'unpack in 10 seconds'

The holiday season has officially started with the school summer holidays now in full swing.

More Brits will be headed abroad than in recent years due to coronavirus travel restrictions being lifted and while testing requirements have been relaxed, more spontaneous trips are on the cards.

So to make your travel experience a lot less stressful, you could start with the way you pack and unpack your suitcase.

TikTok sensation Babs, who is a grandma of eight and mum of four, has revealed her packing hack that she says "will save your sanity."

Posting from her Brunch With Babs account, where she often shares her wisdom and traditional family recipes, she shows how using a fabric hanging wardrobe organiser can save you time packing, and make unpacking easier in "10 seconds flat".

"Here's a packing hack that's gonna save your sanity when going on a quick trip," Babs begins.

"Your sweater organizer doubles as packing cubes - just fill each cube with what you're gonna wear for that day.

"Don't forget PJs and shoes too... collapse right down into your suitcase and just zip your suitcase up and you're ready to go".

She adds: "When you arrive in your hotel room, this is a time saver.

"Open your suitcase and into your hotel closet... unpacked in about 10 seconds flat and for under 20 dollars, you've got six packing cubes".

The hanging wardrobe organiser Babs refers to can be purchased across multiple homeware outlets in store and online, including Amazon.

Shoppers can pick one up from B&Q for £3 or IKEA for £8.

It comes after TikTok user @sideofsequins recently suggested using compression bags to save space in your case.

In a video, she showed how she managed to pack outfits for a nine-day holiday in her carry-on luggage by placing them rolled up in a bag and pressing down on it to remove excess air.
