A pensioner has died of the stress callous burglars caused by raiding his home and stealing cash he was saving to help pay for his funeral, his family says.
John Jordan's heartbroken relatives believe his heart attack was as a direct result of the burglary as the great-grandfather had become extremely "jumpy and anxious" in his own home.
The 84-year-old man "didn't feel safe in his home any more" after the callous raiders broke in and nabbed the £1,500 cash, as the great grandfather lay hooked up to an oxygen machine and sleeping.
