Grandad, 79, forced to wait 15 hours on urine-soaked floor for an ambulance after fall

A grandad had to wait 15 hours on the urine-soaked floor of his own house for an ambulance to arrive after a bad fall, his family have claimed.

Keith Morris, 79, from Merthyr Tydfil, in Wales, suffered a fall in his kitchen last Thursday (October 13) and his wife called for an ambulance at about 10.30am.

His family claim that, despite several follow-up calls, Mr Morris was left on the cold, hard floor until 1.30am the following day when paramedics finally arrived to treat him.
