The Grand Prizes of the City of Paris Creation is currently accepting entries until Tuesday, May 21, 2024. This prestigious French national competition is open to professionals in the fields of fashion, design, and crafts from all over France.
Three new additions have been introduced for this edition of the competition:
- The Jewellery Accessory Prize, in collaboration with Francéclat
- The Revelation Prize, aimed at identifying and supporting young talents
- The Engagement Prize, designed to recognize creators addressing major societal challenges
The Revelation Prize aims to highlight promising and creative projects with potential for development, acting as a platform to reveal new talent. On the other hand, the Engagement Prize acknowledges professionals for their innovative approaches to creation, research, and entrepreneurship in addressing contemporary challenges.
Partnerships with esteemed organizations such as Francéclat, ADC, and various private sponsors have enabled the provision of grants totaling 18,000 euros for the winners. The City of Paris, along with private partners, contributes to the endowment of each prize.
Notable private partners include fashion school Esmod, the French Federation of Women's Ready-to-Wear, ADC, the Galeries Lafayette Group, and more. The winners will also benefit from visibility through media and associate partners such as Première Classe, Paris Design Week, and Maison & Objet.
This year, the City of Paris welcomes the Palais Galliera as a new patron, further enhancing its support for contemporary creation. The French Federation of Women's Ready-to-Wear offers personalized support programs for fashion winners, while the Galeries Lafayette Group provides a platform for winners to showcase their projects during Paris Design Week.
