The Grand National Festival continues with Ladies Day on Friday, with tens of thousands of spectators descending upon Merseyside for the second day of the meeting.
Ladies' Day is the second day of the Festival, with day two having the Mildmay Novices' Hurdle opening the day in front of what is expected to be a packed crowd at Aintree. The featured race of the day is the Marsh Chase at 3.30pm, with Pic D'orhy the current favourite alongside two-time defending champion Fakir D'oudairies, who goes for a hat-trick.
While the Grand National itself is the showpiece event of the Festival, there is plenty of action to be enjoyed before then, with Ladies Day having some top class action as there is lots to be won and lost on the track and among punters.
