The Grand National Festival is upon us and the doors are opening for racegoers for the first time in three years. Thousands of punters will take to Aintree hoping to beat the bookies and plenty more in front of the screens too.
Aintree will hold 21 races over the weekend, including Saturday's Grand National race, and today will have the Aintree Hurdle which promises to be a close affair if the bookies are anything to go by. Betfred has priced Epatante and Zanahiyr at 15/8 joint-favourites ahead of this race but that is likely to change as the day progresses.
Elsewhere, the Betway Bowl Steeple Chase promises to be another entertaining race with a number of talented horses looking to conquer the National Hunt steeplechase with Clan Des Obeaux looking to hold the title. The likes of Protekotorat, Conflated, Royal Pagaille and Bristol De Mai will be looking to take the title away from Paul Nicholls horse.
