BBC Radio Merseyside are running a special feature series this week on their Breakfast and Drivetime programmes called ‘Inside The Grand National ’.
There are five episodes in total and each of them will focus on a different story from the world’s greatest steeplechase at Aintree Racecourse.
Mike Hughes has conducted a whole set of fresh interviews with some of the jockeys, trainers and owners who were involved in these incredible and magical tales from Aintree history.
